There will be changes in minibus routes No. 200, 204, 224, 246 and 271 as of May 23
The number of passengers going to Riga beaches grows in summer, therefore the number of runs has been increased on minibus route No. 200 and some of them will run to Vecāķi beach. Given these changes, new workday and holiday schedules will be introduced on this route for the period of May 23-August 31.
Minibus No. 204 „Centre-Jugla” will change its route based on the recommendations of passengers. On the way to the city centre, the minibuses will run by the route to Slāvu Bridge, then in Slāvu Street, Maskavas Street, Dzērvju Street, Rītupes Street, Lubānas Street, then further by the route to Gogoļa Street, then in Gogoļa Street, Marijas Street to terminal „Railway Terminal Square”. On the way to Jugla, the minibuses will run from the Railway Terminal Square along Marijas Street, Gogoļa Street and further by the route to the terminal in Jugla. There will be no changes in the traffic schedule.
Minibus route No. 224 „Centre – Mangaļsala” will change the location of its terminal in the city centre. Given the fact that only few passengers take this minibus in the terminal which is now located in Riepnieku Street, it was decided to move the terminal to minibus stop „Central railway terminal” in Gogoļa Street. The minibuses will run from the city centre in Gogoļa Street, Marijas Street, Merķeļa Street and further by the route. On the way to the city centre the minibuses will run by the route to Gogoļa Street, then in Gogoļa Street, Turgeņeva Street, Prāgas Street, Puškina Street, Gogoļa Street to minibus stop „Central railway terminal”. Given these changes, new schedules will be introduced for workdays and holidays.
Minibus No. 246 „Centre-Bolderāja” will increase the number of runs. The reason for these changes is the increasing number of passengers going to Bolderāja beach in summer. Given these changes, new workday and holiday schedules will be introduced on this route for the period of May 23-August 31.
Minibus No. 271 „P.Stradiņš hospital – hospital „Linezers”” will get a new workday schedule in line with the passenger flow, yet the changes will not affect hours with high passenger demand.
